Roaster's Notes
Deep in the heart of Kiambu county (central Kenya) is Imani Farm. Sitting at 2,100 masl, Imani Farm is 14 acres and planted with 100% SL28 and SL34 coffee varieties, dating back to the 1950s when they were originally planted. It is now run by Derek Mbugua, who is working to revive the farm and its coffee history after taking it over from his grandfather, John Reuben Mbugua.
